What is MC Cable?
MC cable is a factory-assembled cable consisting of insulated conductors encased in a metal sheath, typically interlocking aluminum armor.
It is manufactured in accordance with UL 1569 and is widely approved for use by the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Unlike AC cable, MC cable includes a separate equipment grounding conductor to enhance grounding reliability.
